I have a significant number of Genealogy pages to convert - and the task as only begun.  Here is a link to the old Genealogy pages:  www.gclark.com/geneal.  I will keep this intact until this section is done.  Note:  This will open in a new window.

Clark History

Johnson History

Our Clark family came to America about 1722, along with a Presbyterian congregation of Scotch-Irish from Antrim County, Ireland.

They settled in western Massachusetts, (Franklin County) moved on to Washington County in north eastern New York, and then to southern Indiana in the early 1800s.  After short stints in Iowa and Missouri, Orange Clark moved his family to Lincoln County, Kansas in about 1880.

The Johnson family left the Wickhambrook area in Suffolk, England in 1855 for Toronto, Canada as part of a church mission.

William H. Johnson journeyed to Winfield, Kansas in 1871 and established the Congregational Church there.

His son William, moved to Bentley, KS in the early 1900s to find work, married Minnie and began his family there.
